TSshield™
The TSshield™ system provides notifications for software updates with direct messages on total stations when available. TSshield™ is able to track total stations and provide their location if they are misplaced or stolen. The owner can even send a code to lock the device so it cannot be operated.
Fast and Powerful EDM
ES Series instruments measure in 0.9 seconds. Coaxial EDM beam and laser pointer provide fast and accurate aiming. EDM is even capable of measuring accurately on difficult and reflective surfaces. Featuring a class-leading EDM unit, the ES 100 Series is capable of measuring up to 4,000 meters on a standard prism, and can measure in reflectorless mode up to 500 meters (350m for the 50 Series) with incredible 3mm+2ppm accuracy. The ultra-narrow EDM beam can precisely measure walls, corners and fence openings. Our red laser pointer is coaxial, so aiming very quickly indoors, and in limited sunlight, can help long-range stick men.
Long Link Technology
The ES 100 Series total stations feature Bluetooth™ Class 1 wireless technology for reliable communications. Remote communication changes the surveyor’s workflow by placing data collectors in remote positions. The instrument operator simply points the instrument and the remote bar position triggers measurements from the data controller. Eliminate the frustration of hand signals and errors in layout and other applications.
Super Long Battery Life
The extremely long battery life allows you to work in the field for almost a full week before you need to recharge the battery. The battery can be used with our Topcon HiPer V GNSS receiver as well as our other current Topcon total stations.
Advanced Angle Accuracy
Our advanced encoder technology provides “Best in class” 1 second angular accuracy. The technology allows the instrument to calibrate its own angle measurement system. With locking tangents you can be sure that the instrument will hold your angles in place

The 25-key keyboard, with backlit 4-way arrow keys provides light for early morning work or end-of-day work. Perfect for tunneling and mining applications. No other instrument in this class has a backlit keyboard.
The quick and easy trigger button is located on the right side of the total station. This allows the instrument operator to easily and quickly press the trigger button directly from the horizontal tangent to take measurements.
