Description
Fluke T6-600 Voltage and Current Tester with FieldSense Technology and Case
Product Details:
The Fluke T6-600 Electrical Tester stands out thanks to FieldSense function, allowing it to measure TRMS AC voltage from 0 to 600V via its fixed open fork and eliminating the need for test leads. The 17.8mm jaw allows the user to perform non-contact measurement on wires with a cross sectional area of up to 120mm2. FieldSense functionality can also measure TRMS AC current via the jaw from 0 to 200A whilst various parameters can be measured via the test leads including AC/DC voltage from 0 to 600V and resistance from 0 to 2000Ω. Each parameter is accurately and precisely measured resulting in reliable, high-resolution readings.
Readings are shown on the Fluke T6-600’s backlit digital display. A data hold function, meanwhile, allows the user to freeze a reading on screen and the test function is selected using the clearly labelled dial. The user can turn the screen backlight on or off and the tester is compatible with the Fluke TPAK magnetic hanger.
The Fluke T6-600 is very safe to use thanks to its non-contact measurement and it benefits from a Cat III 600V rating. Test leads and probes are supplied as standard alongside the tester.
- Measure voltage to 600 V ac through the open fork, without test leads.
- No need to open covers or remove wire nuts.
- Simultaneously measure voltage and current.
- 17.8 mm open fork is widest in the industry; measure up to 200 A on 4/0 wires (120 mm2).
- Go beyond simple detection. Actually, measure ac voltage and current values without test leads.
Product Highlights:
- FieldSense technology for ac voltage, current, and frequency measurement without making electrical contact to live voltage
- See voltage or current display – shows all power supply measurements at a glance for efficient troubleshooting
1 to 600 V ac or dc (T6-600) - 0 to 200 A ac
- True-RMS voltage and current
- Resistance 1 Ω to 100 kΩ
- Works with wires up to AWG 4/0 (120 mm2) with a 17.8 mm jaw opening
- HOLD button temporarily freezes the reading for easy viewing
- Easy to read display with backlight
FieldSense Technology:
Do not hold or touch the wire you are testing during a measurement. Use the black probe to make the ground connection if:
- Wearing gloves or insulated footwear
- Standing on an insulated ladder
- Additional ground contact is required for the application
