Description
DESCRIPTION
The COULOSCOPE® CMS is a benchtop unit from Fischer which is used to measure the coulometric coating thickness of metallic coatings on metallic or non-metallic substrates on single or multiple layers. It measures thickness ranging from 0.05 up to 40 µm. It also has an automated filling and emptying operation of the measuring cell by pump control with a V18 stand. This unit is integrated with a graphical LCD that sup
Instruments from the COULOSCOPE CMS range measure coating thicknesses by means of deplating layers through electrolysis. In particular, the Coulometric method can be used to precisely determine multi-layers on any kind of substrate. The CSM STEP version is deployed for standards-compliant STEP Test measurement of single layers and to detect differences in potential, for example in the quality control of nickel multi-layers.
