The Leica BLK360 Imaging Laser Scanner is the smallest and lightest imaging laser scanner that is affordable, easy to use, and provides excellent data for 3D models. It features one button to control its operation, which makes it simple enough for anyone to scale projects like a pro without needing a lot of setup. Data collection is simplified with two-in-one 360-degree image documentation and laser scanning data. It’s also completely wireless with data transferred via Bluetooth.
With a range of up to 197 feet, this Leica laser scanner uses integrated thermal camera technology with three HDR cameras capable of data capture, thermal imaging, and visible light imaging. The BLK360 is accurate to within 4mm at 10m or 7mm at 20m and displays 360,000 laser scanning points per second. The AutoDesk ReCap Pro application was used to process the point cloud data, enabling scans in less than two minutes, instant data availability, and 3D modeler acquisition in less than 30 minutes. By installing this app on iPad Pro, three connected BLK360 settings in each scanning project can be easily controlled.
At just 6.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter, the BLK360 can easily fit into a shoulder bag. Weighing a slim 2.2 pounds, traveling with it is much easier than other imaging laser scanners. The BLK360 has a shell made of anodized aluminum with a sleek matte black finish and minimalist aesthetic. The camera mirror consists of gold-plated titanium. The device is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
